Feel the Velvet, Oct 2015
Feel the Velvet is a two hour long, participatory performance which took place in the D300 gallery at the California Institute of the Arts. Only one person at a time could enter the gallery by consenting to wear a 50 pound garment made out of velvetcovered stones that are sewn together. By entering the gallery the participant witnesses the process of me covering a stone with velvet and adding it to the bottom of the garment that the participant is wearing.
